Islam in the Bible, its Foundation and Belief
The Redemption EvenT, its facts, & its perversion
God’s test to Abraham, the redemption of Abraham’s only son (at that time), and God’s promise to Abraham and his redeemed son.
The Quran, the Holy book of Muslims, is it God’s words put in the mouth of Mohammad?
Part 1
Let us now stop at the below verses:
GENESIS 22, VERSES 1 – 18
“1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. 3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. 9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. 15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”
God tested Abraham and commanded him to sacrifices his son, his only son, and when God saw that Abraham was ready to do so and sacrifices his only son that he loved, God redeemed the son and promised to bless Abraham and make him blessed by all nations.
The above verses referred to Isaac as Abraham’s only son, but as we learned Ishmael was the first son, and the older brother of Isaac – another example of how the Bible was perverted.
Ishmael was the first son of Abraham, and Ishmael was the son with whom God tested Abraham and redeemed. The children of Ishmael are the saved, redeemed and chosen as the holy people of God. They are the ones referred to in the Old Testament, in Isaiah and other parts (God willing, in another study at a later time, we will go into details about the redeemed people in the Old Testament, and the perversion that was done to replace the name of “children of Ishmael” with “children of Israel”, which began as we saw in the above verses, with perverting the name of Abraham’s first and redeemed son Ishmael, to Abrahams second son Isaac, who was not yet known about when God redeemed Ishmael).
Now let’s read the Quran version of the redeeming event.
THE QURAN 37, VERSES 101 – 113
“101 So We gave him the good news of a boy (Ishmael) ready to suffer and forbear. Then, 102 when (Ishmael) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: “O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!” (Ishmael) said: “O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practicing Patience and Constancy!” 103 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah.. and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 104 We called out to him “O Abraham! 105 Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!” – thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 106 For this was obviously a trial- 107 And We redeemed him with a momentous sacrifice: 108 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 109 “Peace and salutation to Abraham!” 110 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 111 For he was one of our believing Servants. 112 And We gave him the good news of Isaac – a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 113 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls.”
Ishmael is the younger redeemed son of Abraham; the good news of Isaac was given to Abraham after the event of redemption! The redeemed nation is the children of Ishmael.
The following verses, is a description of God’s chosen one; of the great powerful message he will be carrying, and the place from where he was sent.
ISAIAH 42, VERSES 1 – 13
“1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. 9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. 10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof. 11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. 12 Let them give glory unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands. 13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.”
The above powerful verses teach us about God’s chosen one, he will be the last one to be sent to us:
“I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.”
The verses teach us; God’s chosen one will be sent from the wilderness where Kedar resided.
“Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.”
So, who is Kedar, and where did he reside?
Part 2
GENESIS 25, VERSE 13
“And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,”
Kedar is the son of Ishmael; Kedar lived in the desert of Paran (known now as Makah) in Arabia.
EZEKIEL 27, VERSE 21
“Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.”
God’s chosen one and His last prophet was to be sent from Arabia, he would be sent to us with a powerful message and would prevail over his enemies.
The prophet of Islam, Mohammad, was from the redeemed children of Ishmael. He was born and raised in the desert of Paran (Makah), where the Holy Spirit revealed the Quran to him, and where the message of Islam started and shined forth. The prophet Mohammad prevailed over all of his enemies, he prevailed over the disbelievers among his own people who continuously tried to kill him, and he claimed Paran (Makah) back from them, purified the House of God in it, from all evil and all the idols they were worshipping. Thereafter Paran (Makah) became God’s Holy City for all and only the believers to visit, worship God, and where pilgrimage is practiced.
Is the Quran, God’s words put in the prophet of Islam’s mouth, and did God promise to protect the Qur’an from corruption forever?
To answer this question, let us first review some of the Bible’s verses on this subject.
DEUTERONOMY 18, VERSES 15 & 18
“15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;”
“18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.”
ISAIAH 59, VERSE 21
“As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.”
As we learned from the Quran verses, which we discussed previously in this study, the Quran is God’s own words put in the mouth of the prophet of Islam, Mohammad. The Quran is God’s word being spoken to the world from the prophet’s mouth, but the author of each word in the Quran is God. This is very clear to anyone who reads the Quran. It is God’s word, word-by-word and cover-to-cover.
But does the Quran mention that to us in a direct way?
THE QURAN, 19 VERSE 97
“So have We made the (Quran) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention.”
THE QURAN, 44 VERSE 58
“Verily, We have made this (Quran) easy, in thy tongue, in order that they may give heed.”
God did mention in a very direct way; the Quran is his own words put in His prophets’ mouth.
Did God promise to protect the Quran from corruption forever?
THE QURAN 15, VERSE 9
“We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption).”
THE QURAN 4, VERSE 82
“Do they not consider the Quran (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.”
God promised to guard the Quran from any corruption, and challenged the world to find any divergence in it!
The Quran was and is guarded by God as He promised, from the time God put it in His prophet’s mouth and until this day and forever. There is only one version of the Quran that authentically goes back to the time of the prophet, and with no dispute by Muslims and non-Muslims, all admit the Quran that is read today, is the Quran that was spoken by the prophet of Islam. The Quran was written down, and learned by heart by Muslims, from the time it was spoken by the prophet and until this day.
DEUTERONOMY 18, VERSES 15 – 22
“15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken; 16 According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. 17 And the LORD said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken. 18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. 20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”
ST. JOHN 14, VERSES 15 & 16
“15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”
A clear description of the Quran and the prophet of Islam, Mohammad!
